By no
means would it be incorrect to compare the soundtrack of Saagar to a thali
(an Indian platter comprising a variety of dishes). It comprised songs that
catered to the tastes of different kinds of listeners.
For
instance, Jaane Do Na was one of the most sensuous tracks of all time.
But, at
the same time, it did not sound vulgar.
The track,
which Javed Akhtar penned, was composed by Rahul Dev Burman.
The one
who (Bhos)lent it her voice was none other than Asha.
She was
joined behind the microphone by Shailendra Singh.
