Over the years,
Hindi film songs have attempted to convince the listeners that love just
happens.

Kahan was no different –
it contained a line that went, “Hum sochte hi reh gaye aur pyaar ho gaya”
(which could be translated to, “We just kept wondering, and voila! we were in
love”).
It was the only
duet on the soundtrack of Shakti, and it would not be incorrect to state
that was the most popular track in the film.

and Mr Kumar (Kisho)rendered it.

penned the R D Burman composition.
