There’s no
two ways about the fact that Mausam Mastana was an awesome gaana.
It was
rendered by three ladies.
No prizes
for guessing that the most prominent of them was the one and only Asha Bhosle
(who actually deserves to be rechristened Dilraj, because she has ruled the
hearts of Hindi film music aficionados for decades).
The duo
who shared singing credits with her was Annette Pinto and Ms Kaur.
They were
backed by a chorus.
The track,
which was from Satte Pe Satta, was penned by Gulshan Bawra.
R D Burman
composed it.
