It was a (Ku)marveLlous duet

By no means would it be incorrect to state that the most popuLa(ta)r duet on the soundtrack of Bade Dil Wala was Kahin Na Jaa Aaj Kahin Mat Jaa.

No prizes for guessing that the track – which could be translated to, “Don’t go anywhere. Please don’t go anywhere today” – was (Kisho)rendered by Ms Mangeshkar and Mr Kumar.

The hook of the song, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri and composed by R D Burman, was, “Baahon mein aaja”. It could be translated to, “Come into my arms” (in other words, “Come, let me embrace you”).
