Saving the
best – or at least the most popular – song for last – that was the best way to
sum up the title track of Yeh Vaada Raha.
Asha
Bhosle and Mr Kumar (Kisho)rendered it.
The song
was penned by Gulshan Bawra.
No prizes
for guessing that it was composed by none other than R D Burman.
The
remixed version of the track, credited to DJ Aqeel, featured on an album titled
Ek Haseena Thi, which released in 2002. There’s no two ways about the
fact that it was an appalling track with a tacky video.
