At the
peak of Rajesh Khanna’s superstardom (in the early 1970s), most of his hit
songs were (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Mr Kumar.
Even when
Kaka was no longer the top box-office draw, some gems picturised on him were
sung by the legend.
These
included Lehron Ki Tarah Yaadein, the only track from Nishaan
(1983) on this blog.
The first
line of the song, which was penned by Gulshan Bawra, could be translated to,
“Memories like waves”.
By no
means would it be incorrect to state that the Rajesh Roshan composition was
underrated.
