The soundtrack of Souten
contained two versions of the philosophical track, Zindagi Pyaar Ka Geet Hai.
While this blog
contains a post on just one (i.e., the male version), the other was the female version.
The former was
(Kisho)rendered by the one and only Mr Kumar, and the latter was sung by Lata
Mangeshkar.
This happened to
be the second T(r)a(c)k in the film that earned Saawan Kumar a nomination the
Best Lyricist category at the Filmfare Awards in 1984. Incidentally, he
produced and directed the film as well.
It was composed by
Usha Khanna.
