It
wouldn’t be incorrect to state that Kaho Kaise Rasta Bhool Pade was a
tad disappointing vis-a-vis the other songs on the soundtrack of Bade Dil
Wala.
It was
composed by the one and only R D Burman, and sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Mr
Kumar.
The track,
which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, did not have a timeless appeal, because
naivete is almost extinct, and the line that went, “Jaanejaan tum kya jaano
duniya kya hoti hai” (which could be translated to, “Darling, you don’t
know what the world is like”) is probably (Kisho)redundant.
