Nazia Hassan’s
brother Zoheb (a.k.a. Zohaib) was just over a year-and-a-half her junior.
They collaborated
on four albums, and Boom Boom was the second of those.
While Ooee Ooee
wasn’t his only contribution to the album (i.e., to the soundtrack of Star),
it was definitely the most popular solo rendered by him.
(Am)It was penned
by Khanna.
The song, which
was composed by Biddu, featured a line that went, “Ek do, kehne bhi do”.
The first do was the Hindi word for the number two, and the second, in
this context, means, “Let me speak”.
