This blog
contains posts on four tracks from Pukar (1983).
R D
Burman’s involvement in them wasn’t restricted to composing them, but he
rendered them too.
If they
were arranged in the alphabetical order, Bachke Rehna Re Baba would be
the first.
It
happened to be the longest track in the film – it was half-a-dozen minutes and
25 seconds long.
Asha
Bhosle* and Mr Kumar shared singing K(isho)redits with Pancham.
Gulshan
Bawra penned them.
(*Note:
Bhosle’s solo, Main Tere Liye, was the shortest track in the film – it
was four minutes and 17 seconds long.)
