There were
two not-too-distinct phases in the career of Rajiv Kapoor – the pre-Ram Teri
Ganga Maili phase and the post-Ram Teri Ganga Maili phase.
Zabardast (1985) released a couple of months before Ram Teri Ganga Maili.
This blog
contains a post on just one track from the film – Jab Chaha Yaara Tumne
(which was picturised on the actor).
By no
means would it be incorrect to state that it was tailor-made for the one and
only Mr Kumar, who (Kisho)rendered it.
The track,
which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by R D Burman.
