My first blog was
titled Fascinated by the Fifties. As the name suggests, it comprised songs from
Hindi films that released between 1950 and 1959.
The first post on
that blog was dedicated to a song from Mashaal (1950).
A film of the same
name released in 1984.
This blog
contained a post on just one track from that film.
It was titled Zindagi
Aa Raha Hoon Main, and was (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Mr Kumar.
The philosophical
track, which was outstanding, was penned by Javed Akhtar.
It was composed by
Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
