Today
(September 4, 2019) is the 67th birthday of Rishi Kapoor, who played
the lead in Saagar (1985).
This blog
contains posts on half-a-dozen tracks from the film.
If they
were arranged in the alphabetical order, Chehra Hai Ya Chand Khila Hai
would be the first.
Saagar Jaisi Aankhonwali was the alternative title of the
song. Hence, it wouldn’t be incorrect to call it one of the two title tracks of
the film.
The track,
which was penned by Javed Akhtar, was (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Mr
Kumar.
