This blog
contains posts on seven songs from the 1982 film Satte Pe Satta
(appropriate, isn’t it?)
If they
were arranged in the alphabetical order, Dilbar Mere would be the first.
It was
(Kisho)rendered by Mr Kumar, who was joined behind the microphone by Annette
Pinto (of gargling fame*).
The track,
which was penned by Gulshan Bawra, was composed by none other than R D Burman.
(*Note:
Pinto was instructed by Pancham to put some water in her throat and gargle into
the microphone to produce the sinister, but stupendous, background score of the
film.)
