If the four tracks
from Masoom (1983) on this blog were arranged in the alphabetical order,
Do Naina Aur Ek Kahani would be the first.
By no means would
it be incorrect to state that it was a beautiful song.
The track, which
was five minutes and 26 seconds long, was the only female solo from the film on
this blog – it was rendered by Aarti Mukherjee, who bagged the Filmfare Best
Female Playback Singer Award in 1984. She deserved it.
Gulzar penned the
song, which was composed by none other than R D Burman.
