Kumar was not the only member of the cast of Khubsoorat to render a song
in the film.
In fact, the film’s leading lady, Rekha, sang one too.
The track in question was Qayda Qayda, and she was joined behind the microphone by Sapan Chakraborty.
One of the lines of the track went, “Oopar gagan vishal” (which happened to be the first song on my blog on the music of Hindi films released in the 1950s*.)
Gulzar penned the R D Burman composition.
