Suman and Anwar rendered A(vast)hit

Zindagi Imtihaan Leti Hai – the song from Naseeb – was half-a-dozen minutes and eight seconds long.

By no means would it be incorrect to state that the track was the only contribution of three soundalikes to the film’s soundtrack – Suman Kalyanpur (whose voice was similar to that of Lata Mangeshkar), Anwar Hussain (whose voice reminded Hindi film music aficionados of Mohammed Rafi's voice) and Dr Kamlesh Avasthi (who sounded like Mukesh).

Interestingly, Mukesh and Rafi died before the film released.

Anand Bakshi penned the track, which was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma.
