Story continues to be one-hit wonder Kumar Gaurav’s most-remembered film to
date, it wouldn’t be surprising if his fans still sing, “Teri Yaad Aa Rahi
Hai” (which could be translated to, “You are in our memories”).
The film’s soundtrack featured a couple of versions of the track.
The version on this blog was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and Amit Kumar (who bagged the Filmfare Best Male Playback Singer Award in 1982).
The other version was a Kumar solo.
The track, which was penned by Anand Bakshi, was composed by R D Burman.
