Hum Tumhe
Chahte Hain Aise was the
longest song on the soundtrack of Qurbani – it was seven minutes and 17
seconds long.
Kalyanji-Anandji composed it. They were nominated in the Best Music Director category at the Filmfare Awards in 1981.
It started with a couplet that went, “Naseeb insaan ka chaahat se hi sanvartaa hai. Kya bura ismein kisi pe jo koi marta hai?” (which could be translated to, “Affection improves a person’s luck. What is wrong if he is smitten by someone?”)
Indeevar penned the track, which Manhar Udhas and Anand Kumar C rendered.
