Hum Tum Dono Jab Mil Jayenge was the shortest of the five tracks
from Ek Duuje Ke Liye on this blog – it was three minutes and 11 seconds
long.
The track
– which could be translated to, “The two of us will make history, regardless of
whether we meet or not” – was rendered by Lata Mangeshkar and S P
Balasubrahmanyam.
By no
means would it be incorrect to state that it was the most underrated song on
the soundtrack of the film.

Bakshi penned the track, which Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal
Ramprasad Sharma composed.
