Mere Naseeb Mein was the title track of Naseeb.
It was the
only female solo in the film – it was rendered by the one and only Lata
Mangeshkar.
The song,
which was half-a-dozen minutes and 23 seconds long, was penned by Anand Bakshi,
and composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
It was one
of the classics that was remixed in the 2000s, but that version was
disappointing. By no means would it be incorrect to state that Ms Mangeshkar
was not wrong in fuming at the shoddy stuff that was being churned out in the
name of recreations.
