Two KAshmiri phrases inspired it

This blog contains posts on three tracks from Harjaee, which released in 1981.

If they were arranged in the alphabetical order, Kherishu Varishu would be the first.

Most people do not know what the phrase means, and it was just recently that I found out what it meant.

They are Kashmiri words. Kherishu could be translated to, “How are you?” Varishu could be translated to, “I am fine”.

The track, which was penned by Gulshan Bawra, was composed by the one and only R D Burman.

It was (Kisho)rendered by Asha Bhosle and Mr Kumar.
