Kumar (a.k.a. Dadamoni), rendered his own songs in his early days.
But over the decades, his acting career flourished, and singing took a backseat.
However, the original voice behind two of his brother's (Kisho)reused classics – Koi Humdum Na Raha* and Ek Chatur Naar** – joined Asha B(hosl)ehind the microphone in Khubsoorat (1980).
The track in question was Piya Bawri.
Gulzar penned the R D Burman composition.
