Chahiye was the only song from
Manokaamnaa (1980) on this blog.
It was the third – and final – song in Bappi Lahiri’s I Want Love trilogy*.
His involvement in the track wasn’t restricted to composing it, but he rendered it as well.
And by no means would it be incorrect to state that his fans did comply – the track, penned by Indeevar, was popular.
[*Note: While the first track in the trilogy was Pyaar Maanga Hai Tumhi Se, from College Girl (1978), the second was Chahiye Thoda Pyaar, from Lahu Ke Do Rang (1979).]
