By no means would it be incorrect to state that it was an obscure Lata Mangeshkar number that got two new leases of life in 2002.
It was sampled by American music producer Andre Romelle Young (a.k.a. Dr Dre) for Truth Hurts’ Addictive.
And closer home, there was a remixed version credited to Harry Anand. It was titled Kaliyon Ka Chaman, and featured on the album titled UMI-10 (Vol. 3).
