Rafi bagged the National Award

Kya Hua Tera Waada – from Hum Kisise Kum Naheen – was the only song for which Mohammed Rafi won the National Award (in 1977).
The following year, he bagged the Filmfare Best Male Playback Singer Award for the track. It was the legend’s sixth and last Filmfare Award, though he continued to be nominated every year until his death in 1980.
He was joined behind the microphone by Sushma Shrestha.
The track, which was four minutes and 23 seconds long, was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, and was composed by the one and only R D Burman.
