There’s no two
ways about the fact that ABBA were extremely popular all over the world in the
1970s, and India wasn’t immune to the Swedish pop group’s craze at that point
either.
Our own Pancham da (a.k.a. R D Burman) was inspired by them too – and the result must have made his fans exclaim, “Mamma Mia!”
The track in question was Mil Gaya Humko Saathi.
It was from Hum Kisise Kum Naheen, and was three minutes and 57 seconds long.
Majrooh Sultanpuri penned the track, which was (Kisho)rendered by Asha Bhosle and Mr Kumar.
