The shorter of the
two tracks from Sargam on this blog was Hum To Chale Pardes – it was
four minutes and 53 seconds long.
It was penned by Anand Bakshi (who was nominated in the Best Lyricist category for Dafliwale, from the same film, at the Filmfare Awards in 1980) and composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma (who bagged the Best Music Director award at the same ceremony).
It was one of the four solos rendered by Mohammed Rafi in the film. Besides these, he also sang three duets with Lata Mangeshkar.
