Of the
four songs from Ghar on this blog, only one – Aap Ki Aankhon Mein
Kuchh – was a duet.
The track could be translated to, “There are some fragrant secrets in your eyes”.
It was (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Lata Mangeshkar, who was joined behind the microphone by Mr Kumar.
Paraphrasing one of Gulzar’s lines from the track, “Bewajah taarif karna hamari aadat to nahin” (which could be translated to, “I don’t praise without reason”), I would like to state that it was a fantastic song.
It was composed by R D Burman.
