It became the MASses’ favourite

What goes around comes around.

And, in this case, what went (and came) around was the contribution of Asha Bhosle, Mohammed Rafi and Shailendra to the soundtrack of Suhaag.

The track in question was Teri Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

It was the shorter of the Sing(h)ers’ two songs in the film – it was five minutes and 35 seconds long.

The song, which Anand Bakshi penned, was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma.

The track inspired the title of Anushka Sharma’s debut film, which also starred Shahrukh Khan and released in 2008.
