The ABs sang (Kum)arocking number

This blog contains posts on two songs from The Great Gambler, which released in 1979.

If they were arranged in the alphabetical order, as well as in the descending order of their durations, Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahaani would be the first – it was four minutes and 45 seconds long.

In fact, it was the longest track in the film.

The song, which was shot on a gondola over Venice’s Grand Canal, was rendered by Asha Bhosle, Sharad Kumar and the film’s lead, Amitabh Bachchan.

Anand Bakshi penned the R D Burman composition.
