If the three
tracks from Kasme Vaade (1978) on this blog were arranged in the
alphabetical order, Aati Rahengi Baharen would be the first.
It was five minutes and 14 seconds long.
Asha, who (Bhos)lent the track her voice, was joined behind the microphone by the Kumars, Kishore and Amit.
It was penned by Gulshan Bawra, and composed by none other than R D Burman, whose only contribution to the film’s soundtrack as a crooner was Kal Kya Hoga Kisko Pata (which was partly inspired by Mozambican musician Afric Simone’s Hafanana, which released in 1975).
