Today is Kishore
Kumar’s 90th birth anniversary, and his die-hard fans surely wish his
was the voice of their conscience.
This is a post on Khoon Pasine Ki Jo Milegi, the only track from Khoon Pasina (1977) on this blog.
There was no moral science lesson in the first two lines of the song, but it was in the next two, which went, “Daulat haraam ki, naa naa, hai yeh kis kaam ki, haan haan” (which could be translated to, “Of what use is ill-gotten wealth?”)
The track, which Anjaan penned, was composed by Kalyanji-Anandji.
