The third
– and final – track from Satyam Shivam Sundaram: Love Sublime on this
blog was Yashomati Maiya Se Bole Nandlala.
The next line of the song, which was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, went, “Radha kyon gori, main kyon kaala”.
Bole could be translated to told. So the song, which was penned by Pandit Narendra Sharma, should actually have been titled Yashomati Maiya Se Poochhe Nandlala.
The track, which was listed at number seven on the Binaca Geetmala annual list for 1978, was rendered by the one and only Lata Mangeshkar.
