Kumar wanted and (Kisho)received love

By no means would it be incorrect to state that when Mr Kumar crooned, “Chahiye thoda pyaar” (which could be translated to, “I want a little love”), what he (Kisho)received, as always, was bahut saara pyaar (a lot of love) from the listeners.

It was the shorter of the two tracks from Lahu Ke Do Rang (1979) on this blog – it was five minutes and 16 seconds long.

Faruk Kaiser penned the track, which Bappi Lahiri composed.

Kumar’s other contribution to the film’s soundtrack was Masti Mein Jo Nikli. Pandit (Sulak)sha(na)red singing credits with him.
