three songs from Dostana (1980), which was produced by Yash Johar and
starred Amitabh Bachchan*.
If they were arranged in the alphabetical order, Bahut Khoobsurat Jawan would be the first.
The song, which was four minutes and 42 seconds long, was (Kisho)rendered by the one and only Mr Kumar.
Anand Bakshi penned the Laxmikant-Pyarelal composition, which should have been preceded by the warning, “Don’t attempt to sing this anywhere”.
(*Note: An unrelated film of the same name released in 2008. It was produced by Johar’s son Karan, and starred Bachchan’s son Abhishek).
