Rishi
Kapoor had more than a fair share of film titles that either inspired or were
inspired by songs.
Bachna Ae Haseeno – a song from his film Hum Kisise Kum Naheen – was half-a-dozen minutes and 24 seconds long.
The track, which was penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, was composed by R D Burman.
It was (Kisho)rendered by none other than Mr Kumar.
The popular song – which could be translated to, “Beware, beauties” – inspired Rishi's son Ranbir Kapoor’s film, which released in 2008. My blog on Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani's music contained posts on its songs.
