Unfortunately, this track was ‘Kompartment’aLised

Before Shahrukh Khan, there was Kaka (a.k.a. Rajesh Khanna). And it was not just about the superstardom, but also about the track atop a train.

This post is about Hum Dono Do Premi, from Ajanabee.

And, of course, Zeenat Aman upped the oomph factor, as did Malaika Arora in Chhaiyya Chhaiyya, from Dil Se.. (1998).

No prizes for guessing that the R D Burman composition was (Kisho)rendered by Mr Kumar.

He was joined behind the microphone by Lata Mangeshkar.

Simple is the adjective that would best describe the lyrics, which were credited to Anand Bakshi.
