If the
songs of Julie on this blog were arranged in the alphabetical order, Yeh
Raatein Nayi Purani would be the fourth (and last) track.
The song, which was five-and-a-half minutes long, was penned by Anand Bakshi, and composed by Rajesh Roshan.
It happened to be the only Hindi female solo in the film. No prizes for guessing that it was rendered by the one and only Lata Mangeshkar [whose sisters, Asha and Usha, (Bhos)lent their voices to Saancha Naam Tera, the shortest song in the film – it was four minutes and three seconds long].
