By no means would it be incorrect to state that it continues to be the Sing(h)er’s (Jaspal) claim to fame.
He struggled to adapt to the Hindi film music scene, which was witnessing a sea-change then, and unfortunately, his renditions of folk songs curtailed his shelf life considerably.
The involvement of Ravindra Jain in the track wasn’t restricted to composing it, but he penned it as well.
