Yeh Mausam Aaya Hai was the only song from Aakraman
(1975) on this blog, and does not have anything to do with the prevalent
confusion in the minds of the weather gods with respect to Mumbai.
It was the only contribution of Lata Mangeshkar, and the only duet by Kishore Kumar, in the film. The latter rendered four solos in it as well.
The Laxmikant-Pyarelal composition, whose hook was, “Aaja kho jaayen khwabon khayalon mein” (which could be translated to, “Come on, let us get lost in dreams and thoughts”), was penned by Anand Bakshi.
