The only song from
Manoranjan (1974) on this blog was Goyake Chunanche.
The catchy phrase meant, “I want to say, that is why”.
But, to paraphrase the opening line of the second verse of the song, “Kitna payara geet tha”. Indeed, it was beautiful.
There’s no two ways about the fact that the song provided entertainment, which was what the title of the film could be translated to.
The track, which was penned by Anand Bakshi, was composed by none other than R D Burman.
It was (Kisho)rendered by Lata Mangeshkar, Kumar and Manna Dey.
