Goans love to have
a good time, and it is not uncommon in Hindi films to represent this fun-loving
community as people who are fond of alcohol and music.
One such man was Michael D’Souza (Pran’s character in Majboor). He was the subject of the catchy Daroo Ki Botal Mein, a song from the film that was replete with Konkani lines and a warning that went, “Phir na kehna Michael daroo peeke danga karta hai”.
This song was (Kisho)rendered by none other than Mr Kumar.
Anand Bakshi penned the track, which was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
