rollicking comedy, Do Jasoos (1975).
Its title track – Do Jasoos Karen Mehsoos – was the only song from the film on this blog.
While the song – rendered by Mohammed Rafi and Mukesh – had references to adulteration (including, “Doodh mein paani milta hai” and “Naqli ghee ka jalta hai”), it gave the listeners unadulterated joy.
Hasrat Jaipuri and Ravindra Jain penned the song, which was composed by the latter.
