Kabhi – the only song from
Pran Jaye Par Vachan Na Jaye (1974) on this blog – wasn’t used in the
film.
It earned Asha Bhosle the Filmfare Best Female Playback Singer Award in 1975*.
Interestingly, she sang all the other songs in the film as well.
The track, which was penned by S H Bihari, was composed by O P Nayyar.
It was the music director’s last collaboration with the singer.
(*Note: It was one of the four songs sung by her to earn nominations in the aforesaid category at that year’s ceremony.)
