In the 1970s, a
mention of Hindi film songs with a Nepali flavour brought a couple of tracks to
mind – Kanchi Re Kanchi Re, from Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971)
and the song that is the subject of this blog – Hum Bolega To Bologe Ki
Bolta Hai.
It was the only song from Kasauti (1974) on this blog.
Pran lip-synched the track, which was composed by Kalyanji Virji Shah and Anandji Virji Shah, and (Kisho)rendered by none other than Kumar.
There’s no two ways about the fact Verma Malik’s lyrics conveyed a sachchi baat hilariously.
