But this blog contains a post on just one – the male version, which was (Kisho)rendered by Mr Kumar, and became popular.
The female version was sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
The only song from the film, it was penned by Jaswant Rai Sharma (known by his pen name, Naqsh Lyallpuri). He was born in Lyallpur (now Faisalabad, Pakistan).
It was composed by Sapan-Jagmohan. Sapan here is Sapan Sengupta, not R D Burman’s assistant Sapan Chakraborty. Jagmohan’s last name was Bakshi.
