Waada Kar Le
Saajna wasn’t just the most
outstanding song on the soundtrack of Haath Ki Safai, but there’s no two
ways about the fact that it was – and probably still is – the favourite track of
many lovers too.
It was one of the two duets rendered by Lata Mangeshkar in the film. Her other contribution to the film’s soundtrack was a solo.
The track was the only contribution of the one and only Mohammed Rafi to its soundtrack.
It was penned by Gulshan Bawra, and composed by Kalyanji Virji Shah and Anandji Virji Shah.
