If the three songs
from Khushboo (1975) on this blog were arranged in the alphabetical
order, Bechara Dil Kya Kare would be the first.
It was rendered by
the one and only Asha Bhosle.
The involvement of
Gulzar in the film wasn’t restricted to directing it, but he penned its songs as
well.
In fact, it wouldn’t
be incorrect to state that 1975 was a prolific year for the man born Sampooran
Singh Kalra – besides Aandhi and this film, he had a third release that
year (Mausam).
The track was
composed by R D Burman.
