Sitaaron Ka Taraana from Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958) went, “Dheere
Se Jaana Bagiyan Mein Re”.
It was inspired by S D Burman’s non-film song of the same name.
So was Dheere Se Jaana Khatiyan Mein, the only song from Chhupa Rustam (1973) on this blog. It was four minutes and 16 seconds long.
Gopaldas Saxena ‘Neeraj’ penned the Burman composition, which was (Kisho)rendered by Kumar, who aped the composer-crooner’s style of singing in the aforementioned Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi duet.
It was ninth on Binaca Geetmala’s annual list in 1973.
